Honest

The truth, even when it is hard to hear

Everything that comes with it

Everything a divorce brings with it

A divorce is rarely only a divorce. These are the matters that arrive with it, and I handle all of them myself.

Contested divorce

When one side will not agree, or the grounds themselves are disputed. Petition to evidence to final order, argued by me.

Mutual consent divorce

The quieter route out under Section 13B, done properly so the terms hold and nobody reopens it later.

498A & domestic violence

If you need a protection order, or a complaint has been filed or threatened against you, the first few days decide a great deal. I will tell you plainly what to do.

Maintenance & alimony

What is being claimed and what a court will actually order are rarely the same number. I will show you the difference.

Child custody & access

How custody and visitation really get decided, and what you can start doing today to stay a full parent.

Property, streedhan & assets

The matrimonial home, joint loans, gifts and jewellery. What is genuinely yours and how to establish it.

Start by understanding what you are facing

Most of the damage in these cases happens early, before anyone has taken proper advice. I wrote these so you have something calm and accurate to read tonight, whether or not you ever book a call.

Written by Adv. Annapurna Reddy, enrolled as an advocate under the Advocates Act 1961 and on the rolls of the Bar Council of Andhra Pradesh since 1991 (Roll No. AP/1323/1991). Practising in matrimonial and family law at the High Court of Telangana, Hyderabad.

My deepest specialty

Why people come to me

Most people walk into a divorce believing fairness will take care of itself. It usually doesn't. What helps is understanding how these cases actually work, before you make decisions you can't take back.

Maintenance and alimony

Whether you are claiming maintenance or being asked to pay it, what gets claimed and what a court actually orders are often very different. I will help you see what is realistic in your case, and how to put your finances before the court honestly.

Your children

Being kept away from your children is the hardest part of all of this. I will explain how custody and visitation really get decided, and what you can start doing today to remain a full parent in their lives.

498A and domestic violence complaints

Whether you are seeking protection or answering a complaint, what you do in the first few days matters more than almost anything that comes after. I act on both sides of these cases, and will tell you plainly what to do and what to avoid.

Should you settle or fight?

Sometimes a mutual consent divorce saves you years of your life. Sometimes standing firm is right. I will give you my honest view for your situation, even if it isn't what you were hoping to hear.

Questions people usually ask

Will anyone know I spoke to you?

No. The call is just the two of us. Nothing is recorded, and nobody is told that you called.

Do you represent both husbands and wives?

Yes. I take matters for wives and for husbands, and I can tell you early how the other side is likely to run your case. If I think another advocate suits your matter better, I will say so on the call.

Is ₹499 really all I pay?

Yes. The consultation costs ₹499 and nothing else. If you later decide you want me to handle your case, that is a separate conversation, and there is no pressure to have it.

Can we talk in Telugu or Hindi?

Yes. We can speak in Telugu, Hindi or English, whichever you think in. What matters is that you can tell me everything clearly, not how polished it sounds.

Can I meet you in person instead of a call?

Yes. While booking, choose the in-person option and pick one of the office slots. Directions to my Hyderabad office reach you by email, along with a calendar invite, as soon as your slot is confirmed.

What if I need to reschedule?

Life happens. Message me on WhatsApp at least six hours before your slot and I will move it to another time, once, at no charge.

What if the call doesn't happen?

If I have to cancel and no other time works for you, the full ₹499 comes back to you. You won't have to chase anyone for it.

Nothing has been filed yet. Is it too early to talk?

It is actually the best time. The most expensive mistakes in these cases tend to happen early, before anyone has taken proper advice.

Can you represent me in court?

This call is a consultation. If you would like me to represent you, ask me directly on the call and I will tell you honestly whether I can take it up.

What should I keep ready?

Nothing is required. A quiet room helps, and if you have received any notices or court papers, keep them nearby.

Twenty minutes now can
save you years later.

I keep only a few slots open each day. Pick one, and you will hear from me on WhatsApp right away.
